Shooter Deathloop from Arkane Lyon (Dishonored 1-2) has become the main theme and graced the cover of the new issue of GameInformer magazine.
The reporters devoted a large 14-page story to the game, detailing the exclusive demo, sanctifying many of Colt’s abilities, and explaining some of the many approaches players can use in the open world of Deathloop.
Deathloop is set on Black Reef Island and tells the story of a secret society that invented an endless time loop. However, there is one catch: if the majority of people caught in a new loop do not remember the previous one, then Colt Van, the main character, somehow remembers all the cycles and is forced to relive the same day over and over again. To avoid permanent imprisonment, he must kill eight leaders of the program. The situation is complicated by the fact that the rest of the inhabitants of the island are also hunting for his head.
Deathloop will be released May 21st on PC and PlayStation 5. For the first year after release, the game will be a Sony console exclusive.
