The network has been speculated for a long time that Cyberpunk 2077 can add to the Xbox Game Pass simultaneously with the release (or a little later).
A new wave of discussion began after an article by Jeff Grubb, where he assumedthat on July 23 at the Xbox presentation there will be a loud announcement for subscription – perhaps just Cyberpunk 2077.
According to the journalist, Microsoft will cease to chase temporary exclusives for the Xbox and will begin to knock out contracts for adding large games to the Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.
Let’s take the Cyberpunk 2077 as an example. Microsoft pays for the game to appear on the Xbox Game Pass on release day, however it will also be available on the PlayStation, Stadia and PC for $ 60. And the company will not have to pay for lost revenue from the PlayStation – only from the Xbox. And a similar deal can be concluded, for example, for three months.
But the RP manager of CD Projekt RED Radek Grabowski right declaredthat you should not take Cyberpunk 2077 as an example – the developers have no such plans.
