Netizens have noticed the update of the franchise’s official website Crysis. Home page now greets visitors image of Nomad – protagonist of the first part. The background of the picture is blinking. No textual information is provided.
Portal DSOGaming I studied the meta tags of the source code of the page after the update and came to the conclusion that updating the site is an April Fool’s joke Crytek.
However, the developers did not stop there and set a picture with Nomad as an avatar of all the official pages of the series on social networks. Not even an exception was a profile on Twitter, where no posts about Crysis have been appearing since 2016.
Fans hope that all this is not just, and if the developers do not create a remaster of the first game right now, they really want to release it.
Formerly Crytek published new version trailer Cryengine Under the number 5.6, which attracted attention by showing the capabilities of the engine on the example of a redesigned location from the original Crysis. Later on the network appeared screenshots.
March 25, the studio introduced videodedicated to the line of the most popular games created on the basis of CryEngine in the period from 2010 to 2023. At the same time, the cut for some reason ended with shots from Crysis, released in 2007.
