“Complete misinformation” – Valve said it was not working on Left 4 Dead 3

In a statement for IGN representative Valve officially denied the development of a new game in the series Left 4 dead. The company called all rumors of this kind “misinforming.”

“We saw rumors about this over the past few months. A couple of years ago we studied the prospects for creating Left 4 Dead for the next generation of platforms, but now we are definitely not working on anything related to L4D and have not been doing this for years.”

“It’s clear that some people have such fun, come up with misinformation in order to excite the community and news publications. But, unfortunately, at the moment a new L4D is not being created.”
