Half-Life 3 on Unreal Engine 4 from fans: new Project Borealis video dedicated to wind simulation

Even before Valve announced Half-Life: Alyx a group of enthusiasts began developing an unofficial version Half-life 3 entitled Project borealis. The other day, the authors updated the status of the project’s production, by publishing a new dev diary with a demonstration of a system of air and wind.

Project borealis created on the basis of the engine Unreal engine 4 on the basis of the scenario of the failed Half-life 3 / Episode three from former Valve writer Mark Laidlaw. Pthe project is still very early development stage, so you should not count on an exit in the near future.

In October 2018, the release of the tech demo took place, which anyone can download.
