Capcom removed Denuvo protection from Devil May Cry 5

Computer version of the action Devil May Cry 5 today received a new update that removed the system from the game Denuvo. The patch weighs just 21.5 Mb, so rely on something other than this is not worth it.

However, the fact of removing DRM is already good news. Developers use Denuvo to protect themselves from pirates, however, in projects that use this protection, many gamers complain about the high processor load and lower frame rate. In March last year, the executable file of the PC version of Devil May Cry 5 without DRM leaked to the network, and in some cases the game’s performance increased to 20 FPS.

Capcom previously cut Denuvo in exactly the same way from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident evil 2 remake. At the same time, the upcoming remake of the third part will be protected early by Denuvo.

Devil May Cry 5 is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Read our review here..
