Recently EA sent to a small group of fans Battlefield a survey in which there were several interesting points – they may hint at what may appear in the new product coming in the fall.
The questionnaire pays attention to the following points:
the release of a new or existing shareware mode – a hint of a Call of Duty: Warzone-style battle royale;
the introduction of a battle pass with free and paid progress lines for obtaining cosmetic items;
“Evolving maps” – periodic changes in locations;
clans for 100 players with their own challenges, statistics and chat.
Battlefield 6 is due in May, and one of the unique features of the shooter will be support for up to 128 players.
It is rumored that early next year, the developers will also present the battle royale. It will be distributed according to the Warzone model – free of charge and separately from the paid game.
EA even postponed a new one to release the shooter on time Need for speed for a year.
