Atari will develop WonderOS mobile gaming platform

Atari announced the acquisition of a license for all assets Wonder. This company is developing WonderOS, an Android-based hybrid gaming platform.
The startup was founded in 2016 and received significant investments. The developers promised to create a single platform for mobile, console and PC games. A smartphone should become a kind of terminal for this. The connection must be via the cloud or within the local network.
Atari is reportedly planning to include WonderOS in its console development roadmap. Atari vcsand then make it available for mobile devices. This will allow the gaming company to expand the business due to the now fashionable streaming gaming technology.
Atari itself expects Wonder technology to also help improve the company’s business processes. In particular, they plan to use them for video conferencing. It is also planned that the distribution of 5G networks in the future will increase the reach of the gaming audience.
