Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been adequately updated for PS5 and Xbox Series

Yesterday Ubisoft updated Assassin’s creed odyssey for next-generation consoles, thanks to which 60 frames per second were added to them through backward compatibility.

And now the first tests from the ElAnalistaDeBits channel have appeared.

Since the project is still working through backward compatibility, there is no need to wait for graphical improvements – however, there is some good news for Xbox Series S owners. If on Xbox One S the game ran at 900r, then on Series S the resolution increased to 1080 rub

On PS5, the action works in 1620r, and on Xbox Series X – in 4K… These are the maximum values on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, where the resolution was reduced to maintain stability. On newer consoles, the resolution remains dynamic, however, it seems to be much less likely to drift away from peak values.

There are some rough spots with performance – there are more drops on the Series X, and the frequency in difficult scenes can drop to 50 frames per second. However, as players note, in 99% of cases, stable 60 FPS on all consoles.

Downloads on Xbox consoles, as in other backward compatibility games, are about a quarter faster than on PlayStation 5. However, compared to PS4 on PS5, they have decreased by two to three times (from an average of 90 seconds to 30 seconds).
