The first Night City Wire broadcast ended, where within 25 minutes CD Projekt RED presented fresh details Cyberpunk 2077 and announced an anime in the universe from Trigger Studios.
The developers presented a fresh trailer in which they showed the city and the plot of history with the theft of an important chip from one of the corporations. In the final, they showed the character Keanu Reeves.

CD Projekt RED announces anime based on Cyberpunk 2077 by studio authorship Trigger. All 10 episodes of the show, subtitled Edgerunners, will be released on Netflix in 2023. The composer will be Akira Yamaoka.

In the excerpt shown on Night City Wire, the hero survives the memories of a gangster who tried to rob a store, but at the exit he caught a death bullet. The characters wanted to understand how the robber died.
The developers plan to use mechanics as a platform for a variety of different stories – from sexual to dramatic and comedic.
