Company Apple decided to remove from the store App Store popular battle royale Fortnite after Epic Games by connecting its own “direct” payments with a 20% discount, decided to bypass the standard systems from Apple and Google on iOS and Android platforms, respectively…
In other words, developers want to give platform holders less than 30% of their revenue, which violates the official rules.
In a statement circulated to the media, Apple said that Epic Games took a very unfortunate move by violating App Store policies, which apply equally to all developers and are designed to protect the safety of store users. The company was ultimately forced to remove Fortnite from the App Store as Epic Games added a feature to its app that was not approved by Apple.
According to the Cupertino-based company, Epics deliberately committed the violation.
