Company Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the return of a global annual promotion “Time to play“(Days of Play). This time players will have not only a traditional sale, but also a free weekend, as well as a competition for the community PlayStation Player Celebrationin which owners of PS4 and PS5 consoles will be able to win exclusive digital prizes.
The event will start May 18 together with the start PlayStation Player Celebration… To take part in it and try to get rewards, you need to register on a special page using your account Playstation network and then just play the games for three weeks, helping the community achieve the activity goal. You can apply from May 11 to May 31.
The competition will be divided into three stages in total. For fulfilling the conditions of each of them, gamers will be rewarded with unique profile avatars and dynamic themes for PlayStation 4…
The first stage (from 18 to 25 May)
- Goal – 2.4 million games played and 7.2 million trophies earned
- Reward – one avatar and one dynamic theme for PS4
- Bonus goal – 3 million games played and 8.8 million trophies earned
- Bonus reward – three avatars
Second stage (from May 25 to June 1)
- Goal – 2.9 million games played and 8.5 million trophies earned
- Reward – six avatars
- Bonus goal – 3.6 million games played and 10.4 million trophies earned
- Bonus reward – three avatars
Third stage (from 1 to 8 June)
- Goal – 3 million games played and 9 million trophies earned
- Reward – one avatar and one dynamic theme for PS4
- Bonus goal – 3.7 million games played and 11 million trophies earned
- Bonus reward – three PSN avatars
If all objectives (excluding bonus objectives) are met, players who took part in each of the three stages will receive an additional avatar and theme for PS4… They will look like this:
Time to Play Sale with Discounts on PS4, PS5 and Select PlayStation Products Launches Later This Month… Probably, as in previous years, the promotion will take place not only in the PlayStation Store, but also in retail. More detailed information on the timing and participating products Sony has promised to share in the near future.
Also in late May, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will kick off the Free Weekend for Multiplayer. At this time, users will be able to play multiplayer games without Playstation plus… The exact dates will be announced later.
