Lamborghini decided to revive the legendary sports car of the 1980s, presenting an updated Countach… The car will be produced in a limited edition and will receive the serial number LPI 800-4, where the first three letters mean Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido or longitudinal rear hybrid; the numbers 800 show the maximum power of the combined engine rounded down (the actual one is 814 forces: 780 for the atmospheric internal combustion engine, 34 more are added by the electric motor), and 4 – the permanent all-wheel drive transmission.
Main characteristics:
- 12-cylinder 6.5-liter V12 engine and 48-volt electric motor installed in the gearbox.
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 2.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km / h – 8.6 seconds, top speed – 355 km / h.
- Five-spoke wheels, different rim diameters: 20-inch front and 21-inch rear with 255/30 ZR20 and 355/25 ZR21 Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
- Apple CarPlay support, black and red leather interior, built-in 8.4-inch touchscreen monitor with Stile button.
- The debut car is painted in Bianco Siderale – white with a bluish tint. The palette includes vintage Impact White, Giallo Countach, Verde Medio and modern Viola Pasifae and Blu Uranus.
The automaker will release 112 examples of the hybrid Countach to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original model. Deliveries are planned to start from the first quarter of 2023, the price is unknown.
