Museum specialists will advise the developers on the historical aspects of the game and act as advisors. Thus, War Hospital will be the first game to be provided with realism by the Imperial War Museum.
War Hospital begins in 1917, and players will take on the role of a British medic who heads a field hospital in France, not far from the front lines. Our task is to manage a team of doctors, take care of the wounded, and even develop medical technologies in conditions of limited resources.
One of the key aspects of the game will be the triage of the wounded: doctors will have to make predictions of recovery based on the nature of the wounds and the background of the fighters. This will show how difficult a choice the doctors have to make at the front.
War Hospital will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in late 2023.
