Publisher Ziggurat Interactive announced the resurrection of the FMV action movie American hero, which was once made for the Atari Jaguar, but was never completed due to the failure of the console. Now with the help of the studio Empty Clip the game will be restored from scratch and will be released on PC and consoles by the end of the summer – the list of consoles is still unknown.
American Hero was created in the 1990s as a satire on the action movies of the 1980s. Players will play the role of former American intelligence officer Jack, who is trying to prevent the evil virologist Kruger from injecting a deadly pathogen into the Los Angeles water supply system and protecting the only scientist who has a cure.
The lead role was re-voiced by an actor from the original game, nominated forGolden globe“Timothy Bottoms (“Last movie show“,”Johnny took the gun“). He was accompanied by Daniel Roebuck (“Fugitive“,”Destination“) And Musetta Vander (“Oh, where are you, brother?“,”Wild, Wild West“).
