Shadows over Silesia – Czechs make a game about Hussite wars – review

Czech studio KUBI Games announced its debut project. This is a role-playing action adventure 1428: Shadows over Silesia.

The game takes place in the Middle Ages, during the Hussite uprising. Czech religious reformers just crushed the crusaders. And now the Hussites under the command of Procopius Naked carry their ideas beyond the borders of the Czech Republic, in particular, to Silesia.

Developers take real historical events as a basis. But they are filled with a different meaning: it turns out that while all attention is riveted on heretics, a much greater evil arises nearby.

Players are promised a classic isometric adventure with dungeons, puzzles and gloomy fortresses. The plot will be linear, divided into chapters and levels. And since the number of enemies matters in battles, it will be preferable to avoid large groups in stealth.

Release 1428: Shadows over Silesia, the creators intend only on the PC, while the consoles are out of the question. The release should take place before the end of the year.
