The first concept art of the film based on the novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky has appeared on the Internet “Metro 2033“.
Images show Moscow in ruins. In the pictures, you can see the arch of the main entrance of VDNKh, the street with the Blacks, as well as survivors fighting off mutant dogs against the backdrop of the dilapidated Ostankino TV tower.
Yesterday it became known that the director of the tape will be Egor Baranov, who shot “Gogol” and “Outpost”. The production budget together with marketing is estimated at 850 million rubles, and shooting is planned to begin by the end of the year.
The premiere of the picture is scheduled for January 1, 2024.
