The review embargo is over Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but most publications began to compare the trilogy with the original. For the most part, I compared it with the first part, since there were major changes – in the sequels, the textures were mainly improved.
However, first of all, I would like to note the animation when launching the trilogy.

Eden Prime changed the most in the first part – as noted on the DTF, the developers clearly tried to recreate the planet according to its original description. That the world was one of the first to be chosen for colonization because of its beautiful views.
In the original, however, nothing of the kind was noticed – it was as if some kind of apocalypse had already happened, while in the remaster they tried to combine beauty and the end of the world. It turned out, however, controversial.
In general, all the games of the trilogy have become brighter – and this is especially noticeable in Eden Prime. In addition, during the dialogues, the characters seem to be highlighted with a special additional light source to make them stand out better against the background.
We advise you to familiarize yourself not only with the screenshots, but also with the videos – many scenes from the remaster look much better in dynamics.
The first screenshot is the original. The second is a remaster.
In this scene, in addition to the differences in lighting, new objects were added in the remaster, such as destroyed houses.
