The Last of Us 2 and God of War get DualSense tactile support on PlayStation 5

The Last of Us: Part II and God of war will be available on Playstation 5 for backward compatibility, but from the looks of it, faster downloads and more stable frame rates aren’t the only improvements the new console will offer.

According to the site GamesRadar, whose editors have already tested The Last of Us 2 and God of War on PS5, both games also added support for tactile feedback and DualSense adaptive gamepad triggers

In the case of The Last of Us 2, actions such as drawing the bowstring are accompanied by changes in hammer resistance, while tactile feedback is felt throughout the game, including when shooting or when you, say, operate a motorboat. Likewise, throwing Kratos’ ax or using his shield in God of War is accompanied by vibration feedback from the gamepad.
