“We are postponing the launch of the game to 2023.
We have always strived to create the highest quality game possible, immerse you in a reimagined Seattle and release a worthy successor to the original. Because of the quality level and ambition that we set for ourselves, a really difficult decision was made – we need more time. This means that a release in 2023 is no longer possible. The launch shift is one of the changes we make to make sure the product is as good as possible.
This was not the only option we considered. We’ll share more in the coming months about the new release date and other organizational changes that will help us achieve our goal.
