Wrestler Booker T. lost court with the creators of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 – Igromania

The famous American WWE wrestler, promoter and commentator Robert Booker Tio Huffman Jr., better known as Booker T., filed a lawsuit in early 2019. He blamed the company Activision in stealing his image of G.I. Bro for the game Call of duty black ops 4

The trial ended, and not in Huffman’s favor. The wrestler failed to prove that the G.I. Bro and the cyborg soldier Prophet are one and the same image, even if both of them in the promo materials tie their dreadlocks with a bandana and pose with weapons in their hands.

Booker T. argued that Activision copied not only the appearance of his character, but also his facial expression and “attitude”. But, as the defendants’ lawyer objected, the plaintiff cannot claim his rights to the image of an evil person with a frown. In addition, Prophet’s body “from neck down” was drawn from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
