Corporation Press Service Microsoft reported, what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be released next year on Xbox series x and PChowever this information appears to be erroneous. Representatives of the Ukrainian studio Gsc game world reacted to it in a comment to the Igromania publication as follows:
“We have not announced a release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. We are very grateful to the players for the positive reaction to the trailer, wait for the announcement.”
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be a temporary Xbox Series X and PC exclusive. From day one, it will be available in the Xbox Game Pass subscription catalog.
Earlier, the developers from GSC Game World clarified that the footage that we can see in the new trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a so-called “target render” and not genuine game graphics. In other words, the video demonstrates the approximate level of visual performance and atmosphere that the developers want to achieve by the time the game is released… In this regard, it is very unlikely that the project will be completed by 2023.
