Last week remaster Crysis made it to the Nintendo Switch, where it suddenly became a temporary exclusive – perhaps unexpectedly even for the most Crytek, which took additional time to finalize the versions for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
One of the key innovations of the updated version is global lighting SVOGI, which was implemented even on the weak Nintendo Switch. Thanks to this, the picture looks much better than the original on a PC, despite a number of graphic limitations.
However, enthusiasts have already been able to launch a remaster of the cult shooter on PC. True, through yuzu, a Nintendo console emulator.
However, performance problems are expected – even in calm scenes, the FPS is quite low and tends to drop lower. In addition, the game periodically freezes and has excusable graphical artifacts.
The official release of the remaster of Crysis on PS4, Xbox One and PC will take place “in a few weeks”. Most likely in August.
