As expected, Windows 10 (2004) was supposed to be publicly available on May 12. However, developers report that the release will now take place on May 28. The transfer is due to the fact that the code revealed a zero-day vulnerability, which must be fixed before the official launch.
It is reported that OEMs will give the new product on May 5, the developer will receive a new operating system from the 12th, and ordinary users from May 28th.
In addition to fixing the vulnerability, there will be no new features, although developers can fix other problems that will appear during testing. Thus, the distribution of Windows 10 May 2023 Update starts only at the end of the month, and full-scale deployment may be delayed until the beginning of summer.
