Studio Gaming minds reported that Port royale 4 will come on Playstation 4, Xbox one, Nintendo switch and PC September 25, 2023. Currently, developers are collecting pre-orders for the game in Steam and Kalypso store. Buyers of the latter receive a discount 10%.
In Port Royale 4 players are invited to join one of the colonial powers of the 17th century: Spain, England, the Netherlands or France and fight for supremacy over the Caribbean Sea.
You have to become a young and ambitious ruler of the colony, who wants to find out how to turn a small settlement into a busy trading city.
Users also need to develop production chains connecting several islands in order to create complex trade routes and meet the growing needs of cities. To do this, you need to study a detailed sea map to avoid regions with stormy weather, cliffs or shallow water.
Performing the tasks of the Viceroy, players have to become famous and unlock new buildings, ships and much more. The authors promise that for the first time in a series in Port Royale 4 turn-based naval battles will appear. They can participate up to 8 ships.
In total, the game will have 60 cities, 50 buildings, including 25 production sites, and 18 historically reliable types of ships of the late 16th – early 17th centuries.
