Many top smartphones, for a strange reason, lack a memory card slot. Even with a large amount of built-in storage, it sooner or later ceases to be enough. But there seems to be a solution now.
According to the developers, this is similar to Netflixwhere films are stored on the company’s servers and are only broadcast to a user device. At the same time, the first tests showed that AppStreamer reduces the occupied volume of popular Android games by 85%. The speed of launch and operation does not suffer at all.
The application itself, according to the authors, minimizes delays due to the forecasting system. An additional aspect will be high-speed 5G networks, which will allow downloading applications many times faster than 4G. It is important to note that the American mobile operator AT&T already supported the project.
It has not yet been announced when AppStreamer will be released, but this approach will be another step in transferring applications, games and media content to the clouds.
