Square enix shared details Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade – reissue of last year’s remake for PS5, especially for which a story addition about the thief Yuffie was developed.
Two additional chapters of the game will be devoted to her, where the girl, together with her partner Sonon, will try to steal the “ultimatum matter” that scientists have created “Shinra“. In this they will be partially helped by the participants of the “Evelash”, who had just blown up the fifth Mako-reactor.
Otherwise, nothing new was said about the re-release: the PS5 will have two performance modes (with a rate of 4K and 60 FPS) and updated graphics – with improved lighting, fog and textures. Photo mode will also be added.
Unfortunately, the Yuffie add-on will only be released on PS5, and those who have updated their copy of the PS4 remake for free will have to buy it – while the PS Plus version, which they began distributing today, will not be able to update to PS5 at all.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming June 10th on PS5 only.
