An earlier series of racing arcade racing Trackmania from Ubisoft has never been the subject of disagreement between fans and developers. But everything changed after the French publisher announced for the new part of the franchise an unusual distribution model that caused concern in the gaming community. The fact is that it does not imply the acquisition of a full version of the game and permanent access to all content.
Community Manager Nadeo Explains Game Distribution Model in the following way:
“In fact, it’s not a subscription model, but a limited time access to the game. You pay for access to the game for a certain period of time, and that’s all. If you want to play it again when the time runs out, then you will have to again buy the game. “
Basically, Trackmania is a free game, but thanks to several levels of “subscription”, players can access the content that would be presented by default in a full-price project. For example, you can access the “Tracks of the Day” or “official” tracks from the campaign, as well as create tracks and use reruns as part of the standard subscription level at a cost of $ 10 per year. With club access ($ 30 per year), gamers will have access to the Open Grand League competitions, as well as the opportunity to create and join clubs, participate in events, customize skins, go through unique campaigns, customize the lobby and much more.
Release date Trackmania will be held July 1 this year on PC through digital stores Epic Games Store and Play.
