“You made the game world truly alive”: The creators of The Elder Scrolls Online recorded an appeal to players from Russia

Head of MMO Development The elder scrolls online Matt Fireor recorded a video message to Russian-speaking players. It is associated with the announcement of the plans of the publisher. Bethesda And studio ZeniMax Online for 2023.

On the night of January 16-17, a new season was announced called “Skyrim’s Dark Heart“. As part of the story arch in February will be a set of dungeons Harrowstorm, and in May-June a major addition will be released Greymoor, which will discover the western part of the province of Skyrim.

However, for Russian-speaking fans, the main news was the announcement of the TESO localization. During 2023 on PC and Mac Russian translation will be available. That’s what Fireor decided to talk about.

“I want to thank all the players from Russia. Each of you. We are happy that you joined the world of The Elder Scrolls Online. We are very pleased that you loved it so much. Thank you on behalf of all the ZeniMax Online Studios staff. You made the game world truly alive, “he said.

Fireor emphasized that ZeniMax Online itself is responsible for localization, so there will be no regional segregation: you just need to select the necessary settings in the game. During the year, developers will share details about the progress of the translation.

The team has not yet announced whether it is planned to localize TESO versions for PS4 and Xbox one, but it can be assumed that the update will be released later, since ZeniMax Online needs to catch bugs.
