British TV channel Channel 5 released the debut trailer for the miniseries “Ann Bolein” from Jodie Turner-Smith starring. As the authors note, their project will be a psychological thriller, not a traditional historical drama. The plot of the show, in three episodes, will tell viewers about the last months of the life of the wife of the English king Henry VIII Tudor from her point of view, and also delve into the details of her trial, which led to her execution.
Anne Boleyn will premiere this month.
