About this in an interview with the portal Eurogamer told the executive producer of the project John hight, who noted that the team has revised its approach to paid functions and decided that it is wrong to demand money from players for the opportunity to change their gender.
With the launch of Shadowlands, players will be able to change their gender, as well as make other changes regarding their character for free in any barber shop.
Shadowlands is the eighth expansion for World of Warcraft. Its release is scheduled for autumn 2023.
