Life simulator Animal Crossing: New Horizons returned to the top of the Japanese chart last week ending April 19th, reports the publication Famitsu. The project demonstrates a serious exposure – compared to the previous reporting period, its sales decreased only by 2%. In total, Nintendo was able to implement in Japanese retail already 3.6 million copies New horizons.
For comparison, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, released in November 2019, have now sold 3.57 million copies, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which appeared in December 2018, found 3.65 million customers in retail for 16 months. Next week Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be the most successful Switch game in Japanese retail.
