Updated version Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 it works quickly on a PC and provides a fairly wide range of settings, similar to the remaster of the first part Modern warfare (2016).
At maximum settings and an image scale of 200% (similar to 4K resolution), the frame rate does not fall below 60 FPS on a level video card GTX 1070. But even taking into account the tightened textures and lighting of the WOW-effect, the game no longer causes.
Surprisingly, it looks worse than the reissue of the first part, which still managed to impress with the changes. The main problem is lighting that looks too flat in places and turns textures into plastic. On the PS4, this was worse, but the additional power of the PC could not extend the overall impression of the image. And, of course, pixel shadows look like greetings from the past generation of consoles.
In this case, no bugs, errors and other problems are observed. Technically, the version is made very competently.
In terms of content, everything is the same as in the console version from Sony. In reprint on PC there is only a story campaign, as well as a character’s skin Ghost in a diving suit (variation of a combat swimmer-demolisher) for multiplayer MW2019 and Warzone, Two drawings of weapons, a new amulet, finishing off the reception, a unique replica, an animated business card, an emblem and two stages of a combat pass.
It is also important to note that the missions “Not a word in Russian»In the Russian version for PC is not. This destroys the plot narrative – especially for those who did not play the original.
