With the start of the new season in Fortnite on PC, the graphics will be improved – review addiction

Creators Fortnite announced that with the start of the new season next week in the royal battle will improve the graphics on the PC.

According to the developers, now, having chosen the “epic” graphics settings, players will see improved effects of the storm and clouds, as well as improved simulation of smoke and liquids.

The developers have worked on the effects of explosions, fire and nectar (by the way, the effects will be the same as on the new generation consoles), changing the post-processing for the bloom and glare effect, as well as improving the quality of the shadows.

Accordingly, the “epic” settings in the upcoming version 17.00 will look like this:

  • Graphics Card – NVIDIA GTX 1080, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or equivalent
  • Processor – Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x or equivalent
  • RAM – 16 GB or more.

Also, with the upcoming update, the recommended graphics card will be NVIDIA GTX 960, AMD R9 280 or similar with DX11 support. The recommended operating system is Windows 10 64-bit. Fortnite’s high performance is also available on Windows 7 or 8.

And the minimum system requirements for battle royale will remain the same.
