Announced in February, the Wednesday Addams solo series has officially got a leading role. A gloomy teenage girl from a famous family in the upcoming show will be played by an 18-year-old actress Jenna Ortega, previously starred in a comedy horror film “Nanny. Queen of the Damned“and the series”You“.
The show called Wednesday is directed by a legendary director Tim Burton… The premiere will take place on the streaming service Netflix… A total of eight episodes are planned, for which the script is responsible Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville“).
According to the synopsis, viewers will be shown the years of Wednesday Addams’ training at the Nevermore Academy, where it will not do without investigating murders and uncovering supernatural secrets, including those concerning her parents.
