Having quickly established close friendships with local residents, the heroes are drowning in a cozy everyday life, until they learn the terrible story of their new home – people used to die here, and under the most mysterious circumstances. So the mask of a cute “slice” quickly enough leaves somewhere away, and to please “Cicadas” begin with an abundance of mysticism, suspense and grotesque cruelty.
What we think: Novella is a living classic, the first film adaptation was successful, the remake, judging by the first episodes, does not plan to hit the face in the dirt.

What we think: A weak connection almost does not dispose to something interesting, while the original source does not abound with special surprises in a similar way.
