Wheelchair Avengers: Square Enix takes care of people with disabilities

Adventure action Marvel’s avengers will be friendly to players of all types, including those with disabilities. A community manager said this in a recent Q&A session. Crystal Dynamics Megan Marie and the creator of the game Mariah Robinson. So that everyone can feel like a real superhero, the team has developed many useful options that will allow you to enjoy the game to the widest possible range of people.

As the accessibility list is still expanding, Marie and Robinson have revealed only a small fraction of them. Among them: a high-contrast interface for people with low vision, a completely changeable control layout and advanced subtitle settings that allow you to enable the display of names and other useful information, including what is happening on the screen. A full list of special features will be announced later, however the studio is going to work on developing the availability of the game even after its release. The developers also created a special mail where anyone can send their useful ideas.

Together with that Square enix introduced Marvel’s new Avengers character named Ceris – a girl with superpowers moving on a wheelchair, who will appear in the game as Npc. The heroine was developed by Crystal Dynamics itself, and the actress to capture the movements was a real disabled girl Cherry thompsonwhich gave Ceris a more natural behavior.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia on September 4th. At the end of this month, June 24th, the debut demonstration of the cooperative regime.
