Ukrainian studio Gsc game world published on the official website S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 a voluminous FAQ, thanks to which many details of the upcoming game became known. For example, the developers not only aimed at the return of the legendary series, but also want to create one of the largest open worlds in a post-apocalyptic setting with a large-scale and non-linear history..

- As you know, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be released simultaneously on PC and Xbox Series X. However, only on consoles from Microsoft the game will be available with a Game Pass subscription. And on the day of release.
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is an independent project from which you can begin your acquaintance with the universe. Players do not have to go through the first part, however, for maximum immersion, the developers still recommend that you familiarize yourself with it.

- The action will take place on the territory of the ChEZ. The new locations will be located next to the original game’s familiar locations.
- The developers promise support for modifications created by players, and complete freedom for creativity immediately after the release of the game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is built with the Unreal Engine. GSC Game World strives to use the most advanced technologies, including motion and face capture and photogrammetry.
The release date of the game is still unknown.
