Enthusiasts Introduce Next Generation Budget Console Xbox Series S (aka Xbox Lockhart) will look like a cube, like a smaller version Xbox Series X, however insiders publishing Windows central, a Microsoft leak specialist, says its design is completely different.
According to the latest data, The Xbox Series X in terms of appearance is a “more traditional console” – it’s a rectangular box, similar to Xbox one s, and more precisely – Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. Like the latter, the new system does not have a drive for using disks. At the same time, it may turn out to be more compact compared to the Xbox One S (exact sizes are still unknown).

Journalists hear that the Xbox Series S will be available in gray – this will help differentiate it from the Xbox One S, which is advertised primarily in white. Like the Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S will receive expansion slot for internal memory.
As for the final name, Microsoft has not yet decided on it here. INthe company’s inside console is called the “Xbox Series S” and “Xbox Series ES”. As a result, they can focus on one of these two.
According to Brad Sams, another well-known insider, Microsoft originally intended to ship the Xbox Series X to store shelves in August, and the Xbox Series S in October. The editors of Windows Central heard about other release windows – September and November, respectively. But this information is already outdated. At the same time, journalists are sure that the company has not abandoned plans to launch two devices with an interval of 1-2 months.
According to The Verge, the budget Xbox Series S outperforms the PlayStation 5 in processor power.
