The post-apocalyptic world of online role-playing game Fallout 76 suffered from an invasion of reality. Company Bethesda announced that it does not have time to conduct the final testing of the add-on Wastelanders. And its release date is postponed to a week: from April 7 to April 14.
Like everyone else, we are now in a difficult position due to the COVID-19 epidemic. For the sake of ensuring the safety of employees, we switched to remote work and limited personal interactions.

The Wastelanders update was originally intended to be released in November 2019. However, closer to the intended release, the company announced a move to the first quarter of 2023. Obviously, a global change in gameplay has proven to be technically challenging.
The Wastelanders add-on, which is being tested on a test server, is designed to add 76 non-game characters and factions to Fallout, with which players can establish interaction, earning a reputation.
The developers decided to go beyond recordings on the terminals after they asked what attracted Fallout 76 players and were surprised. And now the company plans to further develop PvE content, adding more opportunities for cooperative interaction.
