Developers Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone presented a teaser for the fifth season of the shooter, in which new events begin to develop – the formation of a new shadow faction is reported.
Members of the Shadow group are formed from former Armistice operatives, a combined force of Russian and Western services that were disbanded during the Battle of Verdanks. The Shadow has its own motives.
In the original Modern Warfare trilogy, the PMC was led by General Shepard, who still hasn’t made his debut in the franchise restart. It is unknown if he has anything to do with organization in this universe.
So far, the new group will have only three fighters: Roze, Velikan and the leader of the group Lerch.
The start of the fifth season of Warzone will take place on August 5 – at the same time, the map of Verdansk should change on a large scale – for example, the stadium will be bombed, and it will become available for research.
