Sony released a fresh video Horizon Forbidden West, in which the developers of the project talk about the different features of the sequel Horizon Zero Dawn.
For example, thanks to a high-speed SSD, the game will not have any downloads: at startup, the player will instantly be at the last save, and during fast movement, at the desired point.
At the same time, the open world will become only a little larger, while the team spent much more time adding small details and underwater space in rivers and lakes.
On the “Forbidden west»Dozens of new robotic creatures like mammoths await fans. In addition, new tribes will appear: some will be friendly, and some will be hostile. One of them even learned to subordinate machines.
In the story, Eloy goes to the west because of the plague that arose there – the collapsing biosphere strikes the earth, “smothers” wild animals, deprives the tribe of crops and affects the weather, causing massive cataclysms.
The developers expect to release a sequel in 2023.
