Tyrant’s Blessing Completes Kickstarter Goal – review Addiction

British studio Mercury game a couple of weeks ago I took out Kickstarter my debut work: turn-based strategy Tyrant’s blessingtailored to the pattern Into the Breach and Invisible Inc… To be successful, the developers required about 20 thousand dollars, and this goal has already been achieved.

With 17 days left for the campaign finale, the studio has prepared a number of additional objectives. And the closest one is the Nintendo Switch version. Long-term prospects include ports to mobile devices, new tiles, and dog training.

The heroes of Tyrant’s Blessing rise up to fight the tyrant who wants to grant his subjects eternal life after death. A dozen future characters possess various techniques and skills. But all of them must use their environment for success: hide in bushes, destroy bridges, raise clouds of dust in the sand, or set fire to trees for the sake of a smoke screen.

Each game day we can choose one of the locations, and each one has different challenges and rewards. The magician teleports the selected squad to the battlefield, but when selecting it, one must proceed from the maximum weight: a heavy defender weighs more than an archer, and that one – more than a dog.

Tyrant’s Blessing began life as the debut project of a solo developer. The studio currently has five employees and intends to expand further. And the PC release of the strategy is scheduled for early 2023.
