In a video demonstrating the PlayStation 5 interface that Sony released last week, attentive users noticed that on the cards with certain trophies Destruction All-Stars there is a description of the digital reward that the player will receive for unlocking the achievement. In particular, the “Wreckognized” gold trophy will bring a profile avatar, and the “Rookie” bronze trophy will earn a profile banner.
Compared to how it all worked on PS4, it looks like the unlocking of trophy rewards on PS5 will happen directly from the console, and they will be awarded at all trophy levels, not just for platinum. However, this is only a guess so far based on the PS5 interface demo. It is not yet clear how many games will support this feature, and whether third-party developers will be able to use it.
