Tribute to Dino Crisis: Instinction Dinosaur Survival Shooter Announced

New Zealand studio Hashbane Interactive announced her debut game Instinction – the spiritual successor of the series Dino crisis… In the debut teaser trailer, the developers showed a title screen, a loading screen and a few seconds of gameplay. There are also several other short videos on the authors’ channel that showcase locations, models and gameplay.

Hashbane describes Instinction as a survival game with dinosaurs set in a semi-open world where gamers will explore natural locations, puzzles, missions and thrilling battles with terrifying prehistoric creatures… The project will switch the view from first to third person, as well as the ability to go through the story alone or in co-op.

An important element of Instinction will be customization. Players will be able to customize weapons, attach additional equipment to them, change skins, scopes, and so on. This also extends to a fully customizable user interface, allowing you to not only enable and disable individual elements of it, but also move them around the screen.

“We wanted to do what many gamers dream of: a modern take on the iconic survival dinosaur game with modern mechanics and a compelling story. After 20 years of waiting, we had no choice but to make it ourselves. We want to pay homage to the original and build an awesome project with full community support. “

Instinction is created for consoles and PC on Unreal Engine 4 with a focus on next-generation consoles and GPUs… The developers plan to implement all the latest technologies in the project, including ray tracing, DLSS 2.0, HDR, 8K, 120 FPS, 3D sound, as well as the benefits of adaptive triggers and tactile feedback support.

The release is expected in the third quarter of 2023.
