Trailer: Microsoft Flight Simulator will add detailed Fort Boyard and other improvements to the map of France

Head of Development Microsoft Flight Simulator Jörg Neumann, CEO Asobo Studio Sebastian Wloch and studio executive producer Marsalle Bossart have launched a new stream on Twitch, in which they showed a trailer for the next major update for the game, dedicated to France and the union of Benelux states (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).

Fourth in a row World Update will add to the flight simulator digital maps of all of the above countries improved with an accuracy of 1 meter, as well as more than a hundred manually recreated landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and even the legendary Fort Boyard. In addition, with the release of the update, several new highly detailed airports will appear in the game (altiport in Megeve, Nice Côte d’Azur airport and Rotterdam – The Hague airport are confirmed) and another 100 will receive various visual improvements and improvements. The aircraft fleet will also be expanded.

World Update 4 is scheduled for release later this month

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available only on PC, but this summer the project will appear on Xbox series x and Xbox series sWorking on the port, Asobo focuses on “lossless optimization”, that is, it adapts the game without any deterioration in picture quality, reducing resource consumption… During the broadcast, the developers also shared plans for beta testing the console version, but more details about this will become known only next month.
