What we think: The original manga boasts decent art and cool character designs. Unfortunately, in the anime, this will not work – the title was disfigured with terrible 3D graphics, painfully reminiscent of the worst moments of the last film adaptation of “Berserker”.

About what: Continuation of a quiet slice about a quiet wilderness. The plot of the title tells the story of a very calm Japanese village Asahigaoka, where life literally stands still. What we think: Previous seasons are modern classics. A good situational comedy and endlessly cute scenes. The new season adds fresh characters to this mix, which only benefits the narrative.

If you have not recently revisited the old episodes, then before you sit down for the new season, it is better to do it all the same. Otherwise, you run the risk of missing a few important details in the story.
