Top 10 bloodiest anime. Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, Hellsing, Gantz, Terraforming

Team Fandom has compiled a list of ten bloodiest anime worth watching. It has big names like “Attacks on Titans“and”Hellsing“, and not the most famous works that deserve attention.

10 – Attack on Titan

While the rest of humanity is looking for salvation from the giant cannibal monsters, a small group of soldiers are fighting off a frightening threat. But any courage comes to an end with the cruelty that is inherent in the bloodthirsty titans.

Torn off limbs, splashes of blood, mutilated bodies – all this is in abundance in the “Titans”.

9 – Tokyo Ghoul

The anime, based on the manga of the same name by Sui Ishida, tells the story of a young man, Ken Kaneki, who is turned against his will into Gulya – a creature capable of feeding exclusively on the flesh of other monsters and ordinary people.

Ghoul’s impressive visuals are used to showcase the creepiest scenarios in detail – monsters devouring each other right after bloody and fierce battles.

8 – Gantz

In this title, the focal point of the story is the fate of young people deprived of life and reborn as a mysterious entity to hunt aliens. Deadly excitement quickly turns into a parade of blood, entrails and unceremonious cruelty.

7 – Genocyber

Unlike other titles on the list, this classic miniseries is free of any taboos – the stylish design of the end of the last century is home to countless deaths and homicides. Even those characters who in other anime would not even be worried about will not be able to resist death.

6 – Corpse Party: Tortured Souls

Adaptation of the game of the same name. A group of students stay overnight at the school in order to perform a special magic ritual. But all their efforts lead to is a trap with a bloodthirsty and vengeful spirit of the past, which will do anything to take the lives of unlucky heroes.

5 – Blood-C / Blood-C

Student Saya Kisaragi devotes herself to protecting her native village from bloodthirsty monsters who are ready to literally swallow it. But the village itself keeps an equally terrible secret, which Saya herself has to get to the bottom of. The first few episodes may not seem overly violent to you, but the ending easily makes up for it.

4 – Deadman Wonderland

By the will of the fate of Ganta, Igarashi turns out to be a hostage of circumstances – the hero is accused of a crime that he did not commit. Soon Ganta ends up in a special prison on death row, where he literally has to fight for his life, literally using the last drops of his blood.

3 – Shigurui: Death Frenzy

Historical anime set during the Tokugawa shogunate era. At the center of the story is a special tournament, where the fight is waged with genuine melee weapons, not wooden imitations, and each fight can cost opponents not only limbs, but also life.

2 – Hellsing: Ultimate / Hellsing: Ultimate

What is most commonly associated with vampires? Blood, of course. And in this title it is really in abundance. While all of humanity is convinced that the Second World War is behind, the battle continues on an invisible front – monsters deprived of humanity without pity destroy people and all living things.

1 – Terraforming / Terra Formars

The plot tells the story of a group of colonists trying to prepare inhospitable Mars for the arrival of humans. The problem here is the giant humanoid cockroaches, clearly dissatisfied with the situation.

Nevertheless, “Terraforming” gained its fame not only because of the cockroaches, but because of the incredible amount of censorship that Japanese television subjected the series to in order to broadcast it. This is indeed a case where cruelty and gore can seem redundant.
