As it was promised, Studio Crystal dynamics started sharing news and announcements ahead of 25th birthday famous game series Tomb raider… The developers have posted a video message to fans of the franchise, in which they briefly outlined their plans for the coming months.
Crystal dynamics immediately clarified that in the foreseeable future, the announcement of a new full-fledged part of Tomb Raider for PC and consoles don’t wait… The studio knows how much fans love Lara Croft, and definitely have long-term plans for the character, but now they are not ready to share anything concrete. However, this does not mean that Tomb raider will disappear from radar. For example, yesterday took place the announcement of the animated series about Lara Croft from Netflix… His events unfold after the ending Shadow of the tomb raider and tell a completely new story.
Commenting on the future of the game series, the studio noted that now that the new trilogy about the formation of Lara Croft has been completed, the authors have set themselves a very ambitious goal – to fit the canon of classic Tomb Raider into the universe of Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider… Apparently, the next game will combine the storylines of the classic and modern directions. Fans suggest that she will continue the story of the original games, where the new Lara will be shown as an adult and a lot of people who have seen a lot.
Until this fall Crystal dynamics will delight fans every month with activities dedicated to different parts Tomb raidersharing thematic content and small pleasant announcements. The festive initiative starts in February.
