Paramount Pictures showed a new video of the upcoming film “Top Gun: Maverick” (“Best Shooter 2”) with Tom Cruise, who learned how to fly a real fighter while working on the film.
The video “Top Gun: Maverick” was demonstrated at the Super Bowl 2023, Gamebomb.ru reports. The film “Top Gun: Maverick” will be a direct continuation of the film “The Best Shooter”, which was released back in 1986, at the dawn of Tom Cruise’s film career. In the new film, both old characters will return, including Pete Mitchell himself, nicknamed “Maverick,” and new heroes will appear. The video showed Mitchell’s grueling workouts, as well as the airy pirouettes that Maverick performed in the air.
The film “Top Gun: Maverick” is distinguished by realistic filming with minimal use of computer graphics, and most of the tricks, like in his other films, were independently performed by Tom Cruise. According to Gamebomb.ru, the picture “Top Gun: Maverick” has been released since June 26, 2023. The director of the project was Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Tron: Heritage, Oblivion, and The Case of the Brave.
